Blackbird singing in the dead of night,Take these broken wings and learn to fly.
All your life, you where only waiting for this moment to arise.
Blackbird singing in the dead of night,
Take these sunken eyes and learn to see.
All your life, you where only waiting for this moment to be free.
Black bird fly . . .
Black bird fly . . .
Into the light of a dark black night.
All your life . . . .
You were only waiting for this moment to arise.
–The Beatles.
I don’t know . . . apparently I’m not done . . . forgiving.
But sometimes you gotta pick yourself up out of the ick and move forward anyway. And sometimes, maybe all it takes are a couple of lyrics to help get you up off the floor.

Yeah, songs can really inspire. I’ve never really heard that song from The Beatles. I’m more into stuff like Jon Bon Jovi.

Mr. Wondra,
I havn’t been on in quite awhile. I kind of missed reading your blogs and responding to a few of them. This one is very interesting. Music, to me, is very inspiring. Well, it depends on the style of music. I am interested in a wide variety of music. But many songs have a bold story to them. They just make a lot of sense, and you can relate to them in a way that you never thought you could through music. I see that this song is one that inspires you. It has meaning. I like the lyrics of this song. I am not very fond of the beatles, but I like the lyrics. Quite inspiring..
Anyway, I am VERY excited to do the persuasive writing unit. I am very very interested in writing. I don’t usually care what kind it is..I just love it. Writing has been something that i have been passionate about since I was in second grade. I remember I had gotton an award for my creative writing in second grade. I was so proud of myself. I know that it isn’t such a big deal now, but it was a pretty awesome feeling back then. Hopefully we do more writing units throughout the year.
Thanks,
Crystal!!
PS: I just wanted to apologize for my behavior..again. I will stop getting out of my seat.
The threat to give me detention helped more than you know. It won’t happen anymore, that’s for sure!
